Check the basics ad networks look for: HTTPS, privacy, about and contact pages, content length and ads.txt. It finds gaps. It cannot promise approval
This checker only scans ads.txt briefly. The validator finds syntax errors, duplicates and wrong AdSense IDs.
Open ads.txt ValidatorBefore reviewing a site, ad networks usually look for the same set of basics: a secure connection, clear privacy, about and contact pages, original content with real substance, and a working ads.txt file. This tool checks each of those on your live site and shows what passes, what needs attention and what is missing, with a short fix for every problem. It reads your homepage, finds your policy and contact pages from your own links (and from common addresses when links are missing), measures the main content of a few pages, confirms that HTTP redirects to HTTPS, and checks that robots.txt and noindex tags are not keeping crawlers out. The checklist score is simply the weighted share of checks that passed. It is a convenience for spotting gaps and not a measure of how a network will judge your site.
What this tool cannot do: it cannot promise approval or predict a decision. It does not review whether your content is original or helpful, whether it follows each network’s content policies, where your traffic comes from, how old your site is, or the history of your ad account. Those are decided by the ad network itself.
No. The score reflects only the basics this tool can measure. Networks review content quality, policy compliance and other factors that cannot be checked automatically, so a site with a perfect score can still be declined.
No ad network publishes a minimum word count. This tool treats about 400 words of main content as a comfortable rule of thumb and flags very short pages as thin. Usefulness and originality matter far more than length.
The tool looks for a link on your homepage and then tries /privacy-policy, /privacy and /legal/privacy. If your page lives elsewhere, link it from your homepage footer with the text “Privacy Policy”. Links added only by JavaScript may not be seen.
It will not usually stop you applying, but once ads are running a missing file can limit demand and AdSense will warn you. Create it after your account is set up.
No. The privacy policy check only looks for keywords such as cookies and advertising. Laws differ by country, so have important legal pages reviewed by a qualified person.
