Check if a website is down for everyone or just you, with live response time, SSL and redirect details
Uptime is only the start. Run a complete audit to check speed, mobile-friendliness, meta tags, and more.
Run Free Website AuditWhen a website will not load, the first question is whether the problem is the site or your own connection. This tool requests the page from our servers and reports exactly what came back: the HTTP status code, how long the response took, which IP address answered, and whether any redirects were followed along the way. A site is reported as down when the domain does not resolve, the connection is refused or times out, or the server answers with a 5xx error. It is flagged as slow when it responds but takes more than three seconds, and as having an issue when it is online but the page returns a 4xx error or its SSL certificate is invalid or about to expire. Because a single dropped packet can look like an outage, any failed check is automatically retried once before the result is shown.
The problem is probably on your side: your internet connection, a DNS cache, a VPN or firewall, or your ISP. Try another network or flush your DNS cache.
Common causes are an expired domain, wrong DNS records, an overloaded or crashed server, a failed deployment, an expired SSL certificate, or a hosting outage.
No. The server answered, so the site is reachable. The page you checked may be missing or restricted, so we flag it as an issue rather than an outage.
